According to Wikipedia, Paintball was originally created by Charles Nelson of the Nelson Paint Company in the 1970s . Eventually, it became one of the extreme sports in which players compete in groups. You simply have to hit your opponent with paint-filled balls called “paintballs”. Special protective gears like the vest, goggles/helmets and the gun called the marker, are used during the game.
In Cebu, the Weboss Extreme Grounds offers such game for only P300/head which includes free use of the gears and free 50 balls with a maximum 4-hour play. Without a doubt, we chose it as one of our teambuilding activities when our boss came to visit us from the States. For 2 hours, we were able to play 3 different games.
A brief session was done prior to the game to educate us on how to use the marker, and how games are played. To be honest, I'm not really sure what the games were called but I somehow describe it as "Hit-the-opponent" game. By the name itself, once an opponent is hit, they lose the game. The second one was just like the first, only that we had to change bases. The third was one a lot exciting since it was similar to counterstrike. Once you are hit, you have to go back to your base and start all over until you run out of balls. The team with lesser hits is considered a winner.

THE GREEN TEAM

Luckily, the black team won! Weeee! But I was also unlucky enough since my right leg was hit and got swollen. Ouch! So you gotta be careful when you play!
I just also want to leave points for improvement.. I am hoping that gears will be upgraded soon. As I have been searching online, some other paintball areas offer complete set of gears - from the helmet/goggles to the pants. You might want to add the pants too, not just the vest. Also, bigger space and more hiding areas can add the excitement as well. Lastly, there should be availability of waivers, bottles of water, first aid kits all the time.
Nevertheless, the experience was awesome and incomparable! You hide, run, hit, run, hide, hit again. It's definitely one game that you don't usually do. So don't miss it! At the end, you'll find yourself with paint splattered around you.
