BANANA BOAT RIDE
Located at the East coast of Mactan Island, Cebu, you can get wild and wet with Cebu White Sands Beach Resort's Banana Boat ride! For only P2,300, you can group yourselves to a minimum of 6 and experience its fun filled ride for about half an hour!
It was actually during SupportSave Solutions Inc's 1st Anniversary when my team mates and I tried it. Safety precautions were briefly discussed. We're asked to wear the life vest, take off any jewelry and not to bring cameras as it might get wet.
And so the ride began.....
Not much excitement at first since the ride went too slow. I thought that was it and I didn't find it thrilling. Few minutes later, off we go with high speeds towards the bigger waves! Sitting at the front row made me quite nervous as I could see the waves splashing towards us.
Before I could think any further, I realized we already fell off ! It happened too fast that I could not figure exactly how it happened. Well, I guess that's part of it ----We just found ourselves floating on the water and started to laugh with one another.
Yeah! Nice one! Well, the most exciting part is how you could maneuver and control it so you won't fall off. Then we took another ride and fell off the 2nd time! We didn't feel like falling off the 3rd time around and it went smoothly til 30 mins was over. So those who have back pain or major injuries are not advisable to take the ride as you may also fall at high speed. T'was really fun! It's all worth it!
