KAYAKING at Dumaluan Beach

Aside from its popular wide coastline with powdery white sand, the Dumaluan Beach Resort offers a variety of water sports as well.

While some of us went swimming and strolling, one of my cousins and I tried their Sea Kayaking--  the use of a kayak or mini boat for moving across water where the paddler faces forward, legs in front, using a double bladed paddle.

Single kayak costs P150/hour/head while the double kayak costs P250/hour/head.

You will be provided with life vests and be assisted and briefed quickly prior to the ride. Well, I'm lucky enough to wear vest #6. It reminds me of my favorite jersey number 6 when I used to play basketball in highschool =)

And so we went kayaking.  I thought an hour of kayaking would be too long but as you  paddle  around the moving waters, you will surely forget about the time. It was a fun and a good ride!

It's actually different if you do kayaking on moving waters than on still waters..

Obviously, the chance of falling off on moving waters is high than on still waters. Luckily, we were able to balance it right so no one fell off.  At one point, we jumped  off and swam for few minutes and went back kayaking again.
