PUNTOD ISLAND- still a Virgin Island

Philippines is an archipelago of thousands of islands located at South East Asia, but few of these islands are still yet to be discovered  or shall we say--- still a virgin.

And Puntod Island in Bohol is one of these virgin islands. It is very small and uninhabited that you can simply stroll the whole island/islet in just a few minutes. It's only a 10 min boat ride from Balicasag Island as well.
What makes it interesting is its long thin white sandy bar which submerges when its high tide. And when it's low tide, since it comes up clearly, you can actually dock from there.
There's also a small food stand that offers fresh buko juices and softdrinks.
There are those that sell seashells as well, like the photo above-- it's called "kinasun" in Visayan.

With the island's fine white beach, you will surely enjoy swimming and have fun!
