BEACH MANIA
Right across Paras Beach Resort lies the long C-Shape, sometimes an M-Shape (depending on how high and low the tide is) sand bar of Camiguin island called White Island--- Excited to feel the summer heat, we got off from bed early next morning.
It's actually inhabited, so you won't see anything but the sand bar and few food stands which offer more expensive foods. So if you are on a budget, you may want to bring your own food and tent as well.
While others went kayaking, snorkeling and banana boat riding, we simply went swimming, had fun and took pictures around.
At late afternoon, everyone is expected to be back on the main island since some parts of the sandbar may disappear. So we had the whole day spent at the beach and we were backpacking again for the night. Time to travel back home.
Although there was a typhoon all the way back to Cebu by boat, we were home safe and sound. Nonetheless, the overall experience was great! I love the beach, the seashore, the water-- everything!
