OCEAN PARK, Hongkong

It was a day of long walk yet an exciting escapade as we headed off to Ocean Park. We got lost before getting to the place. From Kowloon City, we took the Star Ferry route since we were at the Avenue of Stars that time and it's just a 10 minute walk to the Star Ferry terminal. From there, it takes another 30 mins to arrive at the Central. Instead of going straight to the Bus terminal, we went to MRT first, thinking that was the right way to go. Realizing we weren't on the right track, we stopped by at one corner to take our lunch since it was already 12 noon. Few minutes after we're done eating, luckily, a man behind advised us to go directly to the bus terminal and take the bus no. 6  towards Ocean Park. And so off we go.

Finally, we have reached one of the most spectacular amusement parks with huge oceanariums in the world -- the Ocean Park. We hurriedly paid the ticket fee and all that long walk seemed forgotten! You will find the park in between two separate mountain peeks, the Marine Land, where you can see the Oceanariums, and the Lowland, where you can find the Sky Fair and the Giant Pandas.

You can also take the escalator that will bring you up to the upper part of the Marine Land.  Its attractions include the Ocean Theatre, the Pacific Pier, the Atoll Reef,  a lot more.

Ocean Theatre-  you can find the must-see amazing dolphin performances at the pool.

On the other side is the Pacific Pier where sea lions rollick on their own.

Take a tour at the famous Allot Reef as well --- where you can see live marine creatures inside a huge oceanarium.

Never miss to experience  their roller coaster rides and other breath-taking rides too

Your visit at the Ocean Park won't be complete without visiting the famous Giant Pandas. Apart from the dolphins and sea lions, you will see the Pandas being caged  at the Lowland areas so you have to travel by Cable car from the Marine Land. The Cable car lets you view the wonderful and captivating scenery down below, including the sea and  mountain views and the surrounding areas.

At the Lowland area, catch a ride at the breath-taking Sky Fair helium balloons too. It's definitely huge and will fly you up to the sky!

The habitat of the Giant Panda closes  at around 7pm since that's the normal rest time of the pandas so  we need to rush in. Fortunately, we were still able to take a peek  at them for a few minutes.  They were so lovely and very cute. They look so huggable just like the panda stuff toys☻ The Giant Pandas are well-known with their black and white coat and they look like bears. They are considered endangered species and mostly found at the central mountains in China. Upon exit, you will see the Ocean Park souvenir shops.

I believe we missed a lot of must-see places at the park.  If only we didn't get lost, we could have been at the park since morning and toured and visited all that it has to offer. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the place and wish to be back  soon!! ☻
